Adding roles

Storage Virtual Machine : Configuration > Security > Roles : Managing roles : Adding roles

You can add an access-control role and specify the command or command directory that the role's users can access. You can also control the level of access the role has to the command or command directory and specify a query that applies to the command or command directory.

Steps

1.	From the home page, double-click the appropriate storage system.

2.	Expand the Storage Virtual Machines hierarchy in the left navigation pane.

3.	In the navigation pane, select the Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) and click Configuration > Security > Roles.

4.	Click Add.

5.	Type the role name and add the role attributes.

6.	Click Add.
